Eliza

The thing I love about corner to corner (C2C) blankets is that they don’t require a foundation chain…..And I particularly love C2C moss stitch! You can find my video tutorial here....

I think if I remember right this combo was inspired by some fabric I’d seen somewhere. I often take inspiration from fabrics or even clothing, particularly retro style prints.

I’ve decided to call this combo Eliza because I was very kindly sent a gorgeous set of Scheepjes Colour Crafter yarn pegs by Emily at Eliza and The Giraffe. They are so beautifully presented and will be so useful in giving you another type of visual for my combos. Emily has sets for all sorts of brands, check out her Etsy shop

For my C2C moss stitch blanket I used Scheepjes Colour Crafter in

  • Weert
  • Goes
  • Alkmaar
  • Coevorden
  • Amersfoot
  • Hengelo

I just did a random stripe order of 5 rows each stripe and finished off with a crisp white border. The edging is Attic24’s bobble stripe, one of my favourites!

I hope you have found this combo inspiring and I'd love to see how you use it! If you want to you can use hashtag #littledovecolourcombo to share your creations on social media.

All my blog and video content is provided FREE however if you would like to support the time involved in producing the blog and the information I share you can do so by 'buying me a coffee’. Alternatively you could share one of my videos or socials posts to help spread the word

Thank you and happy crocheting!

Faye :)
